Shadowing Experience

The ASMSA Shadowing Experience

During the application process it is beneficial for prospective students as well as their families to visit the ASMSA campus. Through the Shadowing Program, prospective students spend a night on campus in the residence hall to see first hand what it is like to live in the ASMSA environment.

The Shadowing Program is open to sophomores who have at least a 3.25 GPA.

Students will arrive on campus Sunday at 6 p.m. and be assigned an ASMSA Community Leader to stay with. The student will meet and hang out with ASMSA students Sunday evening and attend classes on Monday. Meals will be provided in our Dolphin Bay Cafe.

Students should bring with them: homework/books, change of clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag or sheets and comforter, and the complete Shadow Program forms, which are available in the online registration packet.

Tours are given to all interested parents every Monday at 2:30 p.m. Otherwise, parents may pick up their child at 3:40 p.m. in the Residence Life Office.
