The Student Handbook details the official rules and regulations for being a student at ASMSA. Academic as well as Student Life policies and expectations are explained. All students are responsible for reading through the handbook and familiarizing themselves with its content. At the beginning of the year students have several times where the handbook is gone over in both academic and residential settings in order to ensure that students are aware of and understand what is expected of them. Parents are encouraged to read through the handbook as well. Students should keep their copy of the handbook accessible should they need to reference it throughout the year. A committee of faculty, staff, and students evaluate and revise the handbook annually.

Each student is furnished with a copy of the handbook, and a PDF version can be found at the following link:

ASMSA Honor Code
- An honorable person does not lie, cheat, or steal, and does not tolerate such conduct by others.
- I am honor bound to refrain from conduct that would make me less than an honorable person.
- I am honor bound to report violations of the Honor Code committed by others or myself.
- My signature on any ASMSA document, including schoolwork, represents my affirmation of the Honor Code.
- I understand and agree that my attendance at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts is a privilege, not a right, that is conditioned upon my being an honorable person, and that any direct violation of the Honor Code may result in my being required to leave ASMSA.
