Admissions Coordinator

The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts (ASMSA), a campus of the University of Arkansas system, is a two-year residential high school for talented and motivated students in mathematics, sciences and the arts.  ASMSA is currently accepting applications for the position of Admissions Coordinator beginning July 15, 2018.  

The position requires extensive travel in the fall semesters as well as some weekend obligations during the year. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for expanding ASMSA’s admissions programs including identification, recruitment and selection of qualified students from across the state of Arkansas through direct mail, internet, telephone, and personal contact. A bachelor’s degree is required, masters' preferred with at least 2 years of experience in a related field. Must be an effective public speaker, communicator and organizer.   An ability to relate to students, parents, and school officials is vital.  Experience with BlackBaud Education Edge software is a plus.
