The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts (ASMSA), a campus of the University of Arkansas System, is a two-year residential high school for talented and motivated students in mathematics, sciences and the arts.  ASMSA is currently accepting applications for the position of Recruiter.  This 10-month position will advise prospective students regarding admissions procedures, travel and recruit prospective students across the state, plan and implement recruiting and outreach events, develop and maintain contacts at Arkansas public schools and assist with screening and recommending students.  Bachelor’s degree required. Applicants must have experience and comfort with public speaking, competence in the use of database and spreadsheet programs, and the ability to relate to students, parents, and school officials.  Extensive travel during the fall semester is required as well as some weekend obligations. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
