Library Rules
The library is a STUDY AREA. Please work and talk quietly for the consideration of others.
Only four people to a table for group work. If you have more than four, you need to go to a study room.
Group work on computers should be limited to three people. You should use the computers nearest the wall or at the back of the library.
Drinks are allowed at study desks in the library as long as they are in spill-proof containers with lids. No drinks are allowed near the computers. Please clean up after yourself!
Absolutely no food is allowed in the library.
No online chatting, game-playing, or emailing during study hours.
During other library hours, computer use priorities are as follows:
  • Schoolwork (research, projects, papers, group work, etc.)
  • Email related to schoolwork
  • Emailing, chatting, game-playing
During busy times, we reserve the right to ask you to forfeit your machine to a student who needs it for schoolwork
Cell phones cannot be used in the library. If phone use is absolutely necessary, you must get permission from the library staff first.
