Interlibrary Loan

The ASMSA Library provides an Interlibrary Loan service for students, faculty, and staff of the school. Interlibrary loan allows library patrons to borrow books, journal articles, and other materials from other libraries in the region. If you find a source you really need for your research, and our library doesn't have access, fill out one of the forms below or come into the library for a form.

ILL: The Basics:

  • Submit a separate form for each request.
  • You may request up to three (3) items at a time.
  • PLAN AHEAD. Interlibrary loan materials can take a week to arrive.
  • You will be notified by email when the items arrive.
  • Make sure you RETURN MATERIALS ON TIME. Overdue fines for interlibrary loan are more expensive ($1 per day) than those for our own library materials.
  • You will be held responsible for charges due to overdue, damaged, or lost items.
  • If you fail to pick up an item or return an item on time, your library loan privileges may be restricted.

Don't forget! Check our own library before requesting things from interlibrary loan.
