Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts will host its 6th annual ASMSA/Cisco golf classic Friday, July 13 on the Park Course at Hot Springs Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward completing construction of the library in the new ASMSA Student Center.
Registration for the four-man scramble begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Early-bird registration continues through June 29 and is $400 per team or $100 for individual players. After June 29, registration is $500 per team and $125 for individuals. The registration includes a day of golf, lunch and a gift bag.
Hole-in-one prizes will be awarded on all par 3’s. Prizes include a 2012 Buick Verano and a set of Callaway Diablo Edge Irons (hole #3, 163 yeards); two round-trip airline tickets anywhere in the Continental U.S. (hole #7, 189 yards); a choice of a Sports Venue Package - US Golf Open, Daytona 500, MLB World Series, US Tennis Open, BCS College Football National Championship, NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four Championship - (hole #10, 186 yards); all-expense paid Sea Mist Resort golf trip for two to Myrtle Beach, S.C. (hole #15, 148 yards).
Prizes will be awarded for the first, second and third place teams, longest drive and closest to the pin. Drawings for door prizes will be held prior to the tournament and again in the afternoon.
