William Currier
William Currier has a Master’s in Counseling from Illinois State and an MBA from Tarleton State (Texas). Some of the colleges and universities that Mr. Currier has worked at include Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, The Culinary Institute of America, and Penn State University. He has had two articles published with the Association of College and University Housing Officers International. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he has been in student affairs for 25 years. Michelle Barnes,
Michelle Barnes received a B.A. of Sociology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was a member of several student organizations including: SGA, United Black Students Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also served as a reporter for the campus newspaper, The Forum. While at ASMSA, she hopes to persue a Master's in Education. She has a fascination for classic movies. Michael Figueroa
Michael Benjamin Figueroa is originally from Harlingen, Texas. He is 24 years old and received his degrees from the University of Arkansas after attending school for five years. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Mathematics Secondary Education. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and going to the movies. Otherwise, he enjoys playing video games, some basketball, and Spades.

Lacey Gebhart
Lacey Gebhart is from Weiner, Arkansas. She graduated from Hendrix College with a degree in Religious studies. She is attending UALR to get her masters in Social Work. She is passionate about music, family and her hilarious friends.

Emily Glidewell
Emily was born and raised her in Hot Spring. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCA. She is currently working on her masters of Social work at UALR. She thinks she is fun, easy-going person. She loves to laugh and have fun but also cherish her quit time. She is very involved in her church. Denise Gooley
Denise Gooley, a native of Eudora, Arkansas and a graduate from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. She enjoys spending time with love ones. She had the privilege of visiting Sydney, Australia to complete and internship for her degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, and Design. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing, shopping, shopping, shopping, and more shopping.

Natonya Hill
Tonya is from North Little Rock, Arkansas. She has worked at ASMSA since Aug. 2008. She graduated from the Univ. of Maryland University College with a BS in Psychology and minor in Sociology. She likes to watch movies and relax with friends in her spare time.

Phillip Hunt
Phillip Hunt is from Memphis, TN. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology. He is currently pursuing a M.S. degree in Operations Management at the University of Arkansas. His short term goal is to make a positive impact on the ASMSA family. His long term goal is to one day become a Project Manager or Operations Manager for and industry leading corporation. His extracurricular activities include; being an active member of the Tau Sigma chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. His hobbies include; video games, fishing, poker, and traveling.

Corey Jasper
Corey Jasper is from Malvern, Arkansas. He originally went to
Henderson State University, but later transferred to the University of
Arkansas of Pine Bluff. While at UAPB he received awards for being a good
student worker and Residential Assistant. Corey pledged at the bloody Tau
Sigma chapter and became an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
He also was a member of Tau Iota Mu ( Biology Club). Corey graduated from
UAPB with a degree in Biology/ Pre-pharmacy. He enjoys sports, exercising,
and other activities. In the future, he plans on going to Pharmacy school.
Corey has been known to say he obtained a “doctorate” in playing spades.

Elton Joe
He is originally from Pine Bluff and attended White Hall school before graduating from ASMSA in 2003. He has received his BA from Hampshire Collage in Amherst, Massachusetts and spent a year at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana as the Visiting research Fellow in Cognitive Science, where he studied under Doug Hofstadter at the Center for Research on Concepts and Cognition. While at IU he played euphonium in the Marching Hundred and became a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity. His advice to the ASMSA students is to follow your passion, but balance it with logical and realistic thinking about your career path.

Jordan Kennedy
Although she comes from small town in southern Louisiana, Arkansas has become a home away from home throughout the last four years as she completed her degree in photography and Art History. She plans to begin earn her masters of Fine Arts in photography at UALR in the spring. She has a passion for art, volunteering, traveling and loves to laugh.

Deborah Romes
Deborah Romes is a University of Arkansas at Little Rock Alumni. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and is currently working on her Masters of Social Work degree at UALR. Deborah’s hobbies are reading and watching old movies.

Alice Ashcraft
Alice Ashcraft has been working in the public school system for 35 years at both junior high and high school levels. This is her eighth year as Residential Life Secretary here at ASMSA. She has been married for 40 years to her husband who is a retired elementary school principal. She has two sons and a daughter-in-law who are all teachers, and is also a proud grandmother. Sharon Brown
Sharon Brown has worked at ASMSA since August 1998, first as the Receptionist and presently as the Secretary to the Dean of Residential Affairs. Prior to coming to ASMSA, Sharon worked as a Long Distance Operator for AT&T for 20 years. She is happily married (27 years) and has two children and two dogs, one of which thinks she's human. Beth Jaeschke
Beth has worked for Ameriserv since 2003, and has been Food Services Director at ASMSA since August 2004. Born and raised near St. Louis, she attended the University of Missouri at Columbia. She has worked in the food service industry for more than 20 years, experiencing every aspect of it from waiting tables to being Director.
