Clifford Happy, 51, of Hot Springs Village died Tuesday, September 30, 2014. He was born in Alberta, Canada, on June 10, 1963, but grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. Serving in the U.S. Marine Corps for 22 years from 1981-2003 and rising to the rank of First Sergeant, Cliff spent time on every continent on Earth but Antarctica.

The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts received a $15,000 General Improvement Fund Grant from the West Central Arkansas Planning and Development District recently.

A gift that is the first of its kind to a high school in the United States will provide the opportunity for the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts to offer a unique course for its students.
