This fall the ASMSA Foundation will be traveling Arkansas, inviting friends and supporters of the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts to join us for an informative and exciting gathering.
Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts is offering a morning of free classes that will include hands-on activities such as building and launching a rocket, studying chemical reactions and learning how cells use oxygen.
The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts will host an open house for prospective students and their families from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 29 at the campus in downtown Hot Springs. Tours of the school will be available every half hour beginning at 9 a.m. Students will have the opportunity to speak with current students and teachers. The national ACT report released Wednesday shows Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts students continue to score above the state and national average and are better prepared to excel in college.
ASMSA invites the parents of all juniors to come to campus Friday, Aug. 31 for our annual Junior Parent/Student Day from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to meet their child’s teachers, learn more about the courses and the daily schedule, and connect with other ASMSA parents.
ASMSA will host a free Science and Engineering Institute giving students in sixth-10th grades the opportunity to learn about genetics, the flow of rivers, the spread of epidemics, and to get a first-hand look at the rocks and thermal water that give the city of Hot Springs its name.
