ASMSA held its annual Science Fair and Senior Research Symposium (SRS) March 2-4. All seniors must complete a Science Fair or SRS project as part of their graduation requirements. In addition to being judged on their projects, the students participated in a Junior Academy competition, which is a 10-minute oral presentation about their projects.

It’s no joke – Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts invites you to enjoy an evening of music, dining and shopping on Friday, April 1 at the Austin Hotel in downtown Hot Springs.

The ASMSA Beta Club made a good showing at the state Beta Club Convention, Jan. 28-29 at the Hot Springs Convention Center. 

Brooke Brehm of Hot Springs participated in the American High School Honors Performance Series, Feb. 16-20 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts students received three first place awards at the District IV FBLA Spring Conference held Jan. 26 at the Hot Springs Convention Center. 

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts students won the top three places in the “Think Globally, Act Locally” essay contest, sponsored by the Central Arkansas Library System’s Testimony to Tolerance Initiative and the City of Little Rock Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission.

Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts senior Calvin MacKenzie was the only high school student to win a place on the “Wall of Fame” in IBM’s sixth annual Master the Mainframe Contest.
