The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts and the Confucius Institute at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway will present a free performance of Chinese classical music by a group of renowned musicians from Shanghai at 6 p.m. Sept. 27.

The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts held a groundbreaking ceremony Aug. 25 for the Creativity and Innovation Complex, the first academic building to be constructed on campus since the school opened in 1993.
Seven Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts students recently spent three weeks living as a resident of Quebec City, Canada, as part of a French-language immersion program.
