Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts students continue to score above average on the ACT and are prepared to excel in college, according to a recent report from ACT.

Arkansas School for Mathematics Sciences and the Arts is welcoming one of its largest junior classes to campus as the new school year begins Aug. 11. This year’s junior class includes 134 students from 53 of Arkansas’ 75 counties.
Wendel Smith of Hot Springs is the only Arkansas student to be selected as one of 10 finalists in the 5th annual Bridgestone Americas Safety Scholars Video Contest. The contest challenges students age 16-21 to create a short video about safe driving.
