Bryan Ieamsang received his M.A. in French Language and Literature from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. Bryan spent a year in France as an exchange student and then returned during graduate school to teach English at the Institut Universitaire Professionnalisé at the University of Blaise Pascal. As a child, he had the opportunity to learn Spanish while living in Mexico where his father worked for a period of time.
Just recently, Bryan was recognized as an Instructor of Excellence at ASMSA. He holds teaching credentials in French, Spanish, English, and ESL. He achieved the globally-recognized TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) credential in 2022. In the summer of 2023, he received the internationally-recognized DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de la Langue Française) which is the highest language credential a non-native speaker of French can achieve.
Bryan also has a fair amount of performance work and has made a few professional appearances on stage in the past.
A fan of language-learning, Bryan enjoys helping students achieve fluency in language and uses an immersive technique in the classroom. The language learning platform he uses is from Vista Higher Learning – a tool which is used in major universities across the United States.
Bryan began teaching at ASMSA in 2013.
