Fernanda Dzazil Espinosa is a language and literature instructor at ASMSA.

She was born in Mérida, Yucatán, México and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature at UNAM (the National Autonomous University of Mexico) in Mexico City. She received her Master of Arts degree in Spanish at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Later, she studied Ph.D. courses in Modern Languages with concentration in Spanish and French Literature at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She has taught Spanish in the International Baccalaureate program, undergraduate Spanish at U of A Fayetteville and UT Knoxville and is fluent in Spanish, French, English and Portuguese.

Señora Espinosa has taught Spanish and French in middle school, high school and college for over twenty years and loves traveling and learning different languages.  At ASMSA, she has participated in our Global Learning Program taking students abroad to several destinations.
