- At least one year of full-time teaching experience. Three years or more are preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency in working with gifted students, teaching through technology, developing interdisciplinary curricula, team planning skills, and problem-solving skills.

The Purchasing/Travel Coordinator position is responsible for all purchasing and travel related tasks, conducting reconciliation procedures and ensuring accuracy of information, as well as assisting the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance with matters pertaining to purchasing, travel, and general accounting. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institutional and University of Arkansas System policy.
A minimum of (2) two years of accounting office experience and/or associate degree in accounting is required. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field is preferred. The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA), a campus of the University of Arkansas System, invites applications from qualified candidates for an adjunct Economics instructor for the Summer 2025 term.
The Economics instructor will provide learning opportunities for students to explore economic fundamentals, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and personal financial management with a focus on topics such as the market cycle, the causes of unemployment, inflation, economic growth, the role of government in relation to the economy, differences between economic systems, and how business and consumers impact the economy. The course will be offered synchronously and virtually. There is flexibility as to whether the course will be offered during the day or in the evening, based on the instructor’s availability.

A Master’s Degree in Economics is preferred, though candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics plus eighteen hours toward the Master’s Degree will be considered.
