11 students chosen as ASMSA Student Ambassadors

Eleven students have been chosen as the first class of ASMSA Student Ambassadors to represent the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts.

Brisa Bartczak of North Little Rock; Millie Diaz-Lofton of Lexa; Joseph Dobson of Little Rock; Coleman Herman of Monticello; Jesse Hardin Hufstedler of Imboden; Laura Lin of Stuttgart; Adrienne Merriott of Bryant; Hunter Pool of Ward; Carly Roitz of Roland; Claire Smith of Oden; and Sara Smith of Texarkana were chosen as Ambassadors.

The Ambassadors, all of whom are juniors, will work with the Office of Institutional Advancement as representatives of ASMSA to the school’s external communities. As an Ambassador, the students will interact with alumni, corporate executives, faculty, staff, parents, elected officials and other influential members of ASMSA’s external community. The Ambassadors will actively promote the mission of ASMSA, educating the community about the exceptional experience offered to Arkansas’ students.

The Ambassadors were chosen through an interview process with members of the Office of Institutional Advancement staff and faculty.
