2022 Arkansas Fall Golf Classic set for Sept. 30

The 2022 Arkansas Fall Golf Classic benefiting the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts will be held at the Hot Springs Country Club on Friday, Sept. 30

The annual scramble tournament is hosted by the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce. Registration is $500 per foursome. A shotgun start will begin at 10 a.m. Lunch will be provided, and awards and recognitions will immediately follow the event. Registration may be found online at https://asmsa.me/golf2022.

Proceeds from the Arkansas Fall Golf Classic support the ASMSA Foundation and its efforts to provide expanded opportunities for ASMSA students and programs. Some examples of the uses of funds raised include supporting students to attend the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce’s annual Washington, D.C., Fly-In, registration and travel fees for students to attend competitions such as the Future Business Leaders of America National Convention and the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, and to supply resources that assist student research. The foundation has also assisted students with food insecurity and Internet connectivity technologies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 tourney raised more than $10,000 for ASMSA. Over the eight-year existence of the partnership between the Chamber and ASMSA to hold this event, more than $116,000 has been raised for the school.

The 2022 Arkansas Fall Golf Classic sponsors include Arvest Bank, which is serving as the lunch sponsor, as well as Fore Sponsors including Aladdin Foods, Bow Tie Wealth Management, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs and Powers of Arkansas.
