Vacation trips, cash, golf clubs, and a new car – those are just some of the prizes players can win at the 5th annual ASMSA/Cisco Golf Classic.
The tournament, which benefits the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts, will be held Friday, Sept. 16 at Belvedere Golf Resort in Hot Springs. Registration and lunch begins at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
Discounted early registration will continue through Aug. 26 and costs $400 for a 4-person team. The cost is $500 after Aug. 26. Registration for individual players is $100 ($125 after Aug. 26).
“We invite people to come out and enjoy an afternoon of golf and show their support for ASMSA,” said honorary tournament chair and ASMSA Ambassador Betty Kate Carney. “And, we have lots of great prizes to give away.”
The Irwin Agency has donated a four-night stay at an oceanfront condo in Perdido Key, Fla., for a hole-in-one prize.
Other hole-in-one prizes include $10,000 cash, a set of golf irons and a 32-inch Panasonic LCD TV.
There will be a 50-foot putting contest sponsored by Ernie and Vicki Hinz. The winner will receive a 7-night stay at a 5-star Marriott timeshare condo available in various locations around the world. The cost is $10 to enter the putting contest.
The top five players on all Par 3 holes will advance to a final shootout and a chance to win a car donated by Tim Parker Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
