The ASMSA class of 1996 will hold its 15-year reunion July 15-17 in Hot Springs.
The weekend will begin with registration, a reception and tour of the school from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 15.
At 7 a.m. Saturday, classmate Brian Shiro will lead a hike/run up Hot Springs Mountain. Later that morning reunion participants and their families can enjoy a ride with the National Park Duck Tours. Cost is $18 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
ASMSA will host a second reception for the class from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday with a tour of the school.
A catered dinner will be served at the school from 6 to 8 p.m. Faculty, former faculty and friends of the class are welcome to attend. Cost is $15 for adults. (The price for children’s meals will be announced.)
The menu for the dinner includes Tuscan penne pasta, marinated chicken with white wine sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, dinner rolls, assorted desserts, coffee, tea and water. No alcohol will be served since the dinner is being held on school grounds.
On Sunday, reunion attendees can meet in the lobby at the Arlington Hotel at 7 a.m. for a hike or run.
The class will meet midday to tour Garvan Woodland Gardens. Admission is $9 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12.
The Arlington Hotel has reserved a block of rooms for ASMSA reunion attendees. To get a discounted rate, mention you are with the class of 1996 when making your reservation. Call 501-623-7771 to make reservations. The discounted rate is good through July 1.
