ASMSA held its honors convocation on Friday, April 29. The following students were recognized during the ceremony:
Logan Draper and Hayden Roys have been selected to attend Arkansas Boys State. Jenny Son and Taylor McClanahan will attend Arkansas Girls State.
ASMSA students accepted to Arkansas Governor’s School are: Cameron Graham, Nicolas Harrington, Nicole Hinman, Jordan Johnson, Victoria Jones, Julie Rhee and Joli Whiteseven.
The ASMSA National Merit finalists are: Amy Anderson, Sawyer Anderson, Jessica Cheng, Anveshi Guha, Devika Mehta and Ted Stiritz. Jessica Cheng and Devika Mehta received $2,500 National Merit scholarships.
Devika Mehta received the Mike Ross Community Service Award, presented by ASMSA Director Dr. Janet Hugo.
